Browning's X-Bolt builds on the proven successes of past Browning rifles, and adds numerous improvements. Its adjustable three-lever Feather Trigger system provides a clean, crisp pull with no take-up. The barrel is free-floated by bedding the front and rear of the action for stability and to help maintain barrel to stock spacing for consistent accuracy. A recessed muzzle crown helps protect the rifling from damage. The bolt unlock button works in conjunction with the top-tang safety to provide an added measure of safety, while the 60 degree bolt lift is fast cycling and allows you to work the bolt quickly.The Medallion model is presented with a fine gloss-finished, checkered walnut stock. Insuring long-range accuracy is the totally free-floated barrel and Feather Trigger System, two of the most critical components of any high-powered hunting rifle. The high-grade Walnut stock with detailed checkering provides classic good looks. Rosewood caps on the fore-end and grip offer additional elegance. This model is features the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation logo inset in the grip cap.
